Sachin Tendulkar‘s son Arjun Tendulkar may not bat like his father, however, he has other cricketing skills to grabs the attention of the media. Earlier this month, he was in the news for nearly injuring England batsman Jonny Bairstow. While Bairstow was training in the nets, it was Arjun Tendulkar who hit Bairstow’s foot with a yorker, according to Mail Online. The Englishman hopped out of the nets after taking on just one ball from Arjun. After Bairstow left the nets, his left foot was put in a compression unit for some time, during which the pain was eased off.
Arjun was once again in the news when he bowled to the women cricketers at nets at Lord’s helping them prepare for the big final against hosts England. In a video, he is seen bowling to India’s right-handed middle-order batswoman Veda Krishnamurthy. Watch the video to see Sachin’s son bowling in the nets in Lord’s.

And Arjun was bowling at a good speed too. The youngster was constantly hitting speeds of up to 130+. It seems he is up for a long career as he is just 17 now.
Arjun has played at U-14 and U-16 age group level for Mumbai. While playing for Dhirubhai International Public School, he took eight wickets for 22 runs bowling against Jamnabai Nursing School. He bats left-handed and scored his maiden century while playing for Khar Gymkhana at the U-14 level.
