Previously available only with a diesel engine, the Q7, Audi’s flagship SUV in India, was today launched with a petrol engine. The 2017 Audi Q7 40 TFSI quattro uses, as the name suggests, a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine making 252 hp and 370 Nm mated to an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission. With power going to all four wheels, this big Audi does the 0-100 dash in just 6.9 seconds and can hit a top speed of 233 km/h.
It isn’t just fast but looks good too, both inside and out! With class-leading Matrix LED headlights with daytime running lights (DRLs), 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, Audi Virtual Cockpit and Audi Smartphone Interface, ambient lighting with 30 combinations, a 558-watt Bose 3D Surround Sound System, Audi Drive Select, cruise control, and so much more, this luxury seven-seater go-anywhere SUV is a pleasure to drive and experience.
Befitting, perhaps, that the Q7 petrol, priced at INR 67.76 lakh (ex-showroom India), has the hashtag #HighOctaneGreatness!
