Mark Ruffalo might just have revealed the ending of The Avengers: Infinity War, and fans are beside themselves with theories and speculations from the Marvel Comic Universe. On an interview with Don Cheadle on Good Morning America, Ruffalo said of Thor: Ragnarok – “Let me just say this; like every other Marvel movie, it doesn’t end well for the superheroes.”
But he didn’t stop there.
“Wait until you see this next one,” Ruffalo said of Avengers: Infinity War. “Everybody dies.”
This may not have come as a surprise to many hardcore Marvel fans. Marvel has teased a potential calamity in earlier installments of the Avengers franchise too – remember Tony Stark’s vision in Age of Ultron, where all the Avengers have been killed? If what Ruffalo let slip is anything to go by, Infinity War might just see that vision manifesting in the form of a massive tragedy.
And then again, this is Marvel. Does any Avenger ever, really, die?
The Avengers: Infinity War and the untitled fourth installment of the Avengers franchise are being filmed back-to-back, and will release on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 respectively.
