The newly wed couple has returned to Mumbai after marrying in twin wedding ceremonies – a Konkani and a Sindhi – at Lake Como, Italy. Instagram is full of photos of Ranveer and Deepika and people cannot stop admiring their outfits. The beautiful bride unsurprisingly chose dresses of fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

During the wedding both Deepika and Ranveer were head-to-toe in Sabyasachi. Deepika chose a unique lehenga design specifically to compliment her personal style. The lehenga was equally traditional as well as contemporary. Her red gharara was hand-embroidered with golden tilla details. The gharara was paired with a chowki design aari-taari dupatta finished with a heavy border with the age-old saying ‘Sada Saubhagyavati Bhava’.

The jewellery she wore at the wedding was also from Sabyasachi’s Heritage Jewellery Collection. She wore a statement maang tikka, jadau jhumkas, a bridal chuda, rings and a nath (nose ring). Deepika chose a Sabyasachi saree for her Konkani wedding. It was a tissue saree with hand-embroidered border paired with traditional style temple jewellery.

The couple again opted for designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s collection for their airport look while returning to Mumbai. Deepika wore a cream suit and a red silk dupatta accessorised with traditional jewellery. The groom also wore a cream kurta set along with a pink and gold jacket.
