This news has left the whole of Bollywood and his fans in utter shock!
Irrfan Khan breaks silence and took to Twitter to reveal the shocking news that he has been diagnosed with a rare condition of NeuroEndocrine Tumour, a condition where a tumour begins to develop in the parts of the body that produce and release hormones.
The speculations about the ill health of this 51-year-old actor started in late February when Vishal Bhardwaj postponed the filming of his next project, starring Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone, citing health concerns of his lead actors.
Today, the actor warded away all suppositions by tweeting:

“The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope. The journey of this is taking me out of the country, and I request everyone to continue sending their wishes. As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research. To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell.”
But the show must go on! So his upcoming film Blackmail will be released on April 6, on the scheduled date. His co-stars have all come together to support the talented actor in his dark time and have requested the media to give space to the actor.
Earlier he had said, “I have never given up and have always fought for my choices and always will. My family and friends are with me and we are working it out the best way possible.”
