Oh yes, you heard that right, Kareena was doing yoga until a week before she delivered. Stories of her fitness are not old. We have seen Bebo walking the ramp during her pregnancy and was back to work after a short break break post delivery.
As we hear about her upcoming film, Veere Di Wedding with Sonam Kapoor and Swara Bhaswkar, we also hear tales of her new fitness regime. After giving birth to munchkin Taimur, Kareena lost 12kgs and further lost 8kgs before the shooting began.
Her fitness regime focusses on strengthening her core muscles. The new routine, Flying Fit includes 60 to 75 minutes of aerial twists, high intensity yoga and pilates workout and the usual mix of pranayam, meditation and surya namaskars.
Bebo surprises us by everything she does. The actress can hold a position for up to two minutes. For Kareena, achieving a ideal weight was never the destination. Her workout has always be tailor-made and customised to balance hormones and the endocrine system post pregnancy.
Kareena also practices Aerial Silk yoga. The regime uses low-hanging hammock for traditional postures and supports the entire body mid-air. Her trainer Anushka Parwani travels with her so that she does not miss out on a session. Kareena makes sure she does her cardio just in case her trainer could not accompany her.
No wonder Kareena is the name when someone asks about a dedicated one in the industry!
