Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has always wowed the crowd at various events. Whether it is emerald green, blue or purple, Trudeau definitely looks dashing in kurta-pyjama. Montrealers celebrated India’s 70 years of independence on the first Sunday following August 15. The Prime Minister made a maiden appearance at the India Day Unity Parade. He appeared at the parade because the route of the parade, which commenced at Avenue Ogilvy and ended at Parc Howard, fell within the constituency of Papineau that Trudeau represents.
Trudeau was clad in purple kurta-pyjama and addressed the gathering at the event. He concluded the speech with “Jai Hind.” The Prime Minister also tweeted “Home in my riding of Papineau for Indian Independence Day celebrations! Long live the friendship between our two countries.”
In his desi avatar he thronged along the parade and stopped for selfies. This is not the first time Trudeau has mesmerised the people in traditional look. He made an appearance in Indian attire at the 10th anniversary of the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Toronto.
He also took part in prayer rituals with Mahant Swami Maharaj. During that visit, he again took to Twitter to update his followers and hailed the temple as architectural masterpiece in tweet.

In 2013 too, he had graced the India Independence celebrations in a traditional Indian attire. He was clad in an emerald green kurta-pyjama and looked as dapper then as he did this time.
