Here are five such recommendations:

1. Narcos

It made headlines all around with the two dramatic and thrilling seasons which depicted the life story of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. The series is set to explore the post-Escobar Colombia wherein, the Cali cartel took over the cocaine business and ran the whole operation like a Fortune 500 company. Fascinating to see what Javier Pena does with the CIA! Season 3 will premiere on September 1, 2017.

2. Stranger Things

And you don’t have to wait too long for it. The Season 2 of the show will release on Oct 31, 2017. While the hype was somewhat toned down the first time around, the second season is already buzzing because of the stellar Comic Con trailer.

3. The Crown

4. American Gods

Similar to the X Men, this is another show with religious undertones as it tries to explain the superpowers and how it fits into the cosmos.

5. Preacher
