Mika Singh's sound editor involved in robbery

On Tuesday night Delhi Police arrested a 27-year-old man who allegedly robbed singer Mika Singh. The man stole money and gold from Mika Singh’s residence. Delhi Police said in a statement that they arrested Ankit Vasan (accused) from Vikaspuri in Delhi.

Delhi Police said Vasan confessed that he regularly stole cash and valuables from the singer. When Mika noticed Vasan’s act, he fled the studio and hid in Mumbai for two days. After that he reached Delhi on July 31. He even destroyed the CCTV footage before leaving.

Police recovered $6,900, ₹50,000 and ₹5 lakh from three different bank accounts, which belong to the accused.They also found studio’s keys at his hideout.

Vasan stole cash and valuables on June 29 from Mika’s residence. He was a sound editor at Mika Singh’s studio from last 15 years. According to the initial complaint, Vasan allegedly stole one lakh rupees in cash and gold worth rupees two lakh.
