Thought star kids had it easy? Well, yes they do… but some parents do try to keep their offspring “grounded”. The interpretation of the word may vary, but hey, it’s the thought that counts! The “jobs”, of course, come relatively easy, and might not involve the trauma/workload that usually comes with first apprenticeships – just in case you forgot: the kids are millionaires! But it does involve interacting with the common folks, and yes, even work! Born with a silver spoon, some of them serve coffee in chinaware to earn pocket money. Or deliver pizzas and eat humble pie themselves. Hmmm…interesting.

The 17-year old is the newest star kid to get a summer job. Reese Witherspoon’s mini-me, who is a spitting image of her mum, has started working at a pizza place in an affluent suburb in Hollywood. At her best behaviour but true to her celeb-genes, the teenager apparently came stylishly dressed and was seen politely showing the guests to their tables.
His father may be among the greatest (and richest) footballers of all time, and mother, former Posh Spice and now a successful fashion designer, but that didn’t mean he didn’t have to work. The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham had joined a weekend job at a West London coffee a couple of years back. Aged about 15 then, Brooklyn was apparently paid £2.68 an hour. That’s quite something for someone whose parents’ combined fortune is reported to be more than the Queen.
When her dad was still the President of the US(!!!), the then 15-year old was working at a seafood restaurant, of course accompanied by a number of Secret Service agents. She was reportedly doing a four-hour shift that included bussing tables and being at the takeout window.
The younger daughter of Barack and Michelle Obama was also spotted bringing out a tray of drinks to her security team once during her stint.
This one is tooo cute! The kids of Sir Elton John are too young to step out, but the dads are making sure they learn the value of hard work early in life. The sons, aged 4 and 6, have to do odd chores around the house to earn pocket money. In an interview, the legendary singer had admitted to making the two help in the house and the garden. He went on to add that if the kids wanted a car when they grow up, “they’re going to have to pay for it, and they’re going to have the second-hand car to start with”.
