A reputed magazine held an awards show yesterday and the B-town beauties showed up in full force, in, of course, their Sunday best! While some pulled off the look with elan, others made heads turn too, but for all the wrong reasons. Here is how the Bollywood brigade turned out on the red carpet. What’s your verdict?
Recently seen in Lucknow Central, the pretty actress wore a one-shoulder gown by Gaurav Gupta for the event. The gown was flattering and worked well… so did her hair and makeup. We thought she looked great. You?
Another Gaurav Gupta sighting at the same event, and so different from the previous one! We are on the fence about this one. Making an abysmal first impression, the look kinda grows on you. Torso up it looks nice, but the more we look at it in its entirety the more we begin to cringe.
For the uninitiated, as the name suggests, Ananya hails from the Aditya Birla family – she is the daughter of Group chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla. A budding musician, she’s even cut an album, having worked with the likes of Afrojack (perks of being a Birla?!). Not new to limelight and red carpets, the 23-year-old made a confident and on point appearance at the event… fresh and young, in keeping with her age.
Athiya chose a Prabal Gurung gown for the event. Sadly, nothing seemed to work for the actress here. It was a lacklustre appearance, and the hair and makeup were nothing to write home about either. You can choose to differ.
Back from the red carpet in LA for the premiere of Victoria and Abdul, the actress didn’t quite cut it for us on the home turf. The fringe dress fell flat, the lack of accessories doesn’t help Ms Chadha’s case, and the hair and makeup only added to the woes.
The actress wore a monochrome short dress. While there is nothing to technically fault with the look, it just was really blah! Not impressive, and definitely not red-carpet worthy.
