When Ryan Reynolds FaceTimed a terminally ill 5-year-old boy

When we say Ryan Reynolds is more than just good looks and great comic timing, we mean it. And here’s the latest reason why. The actor FaceTimed a 5-year-old boy with cancer from the sets of Deadpool 2, chatted with him for 15 minutes and even gave him a private tour!

Granting the wish of Daniel Downing, a little boy in Bristol, UK who is suffering from an inoperable brain tumour, Reynolds gave him a regular phone call and then happily yielded to his request for a FaceTime chat. When Daniel showed off his Deadpool t-shirt, Reynolds said it was “awesome” and admitted that he was yet to get one for himself! The actor also joked that the 5-year-old was a little young to have watched the R-rated superhero flick, and then went on to give him a virtual walking tour of the sequel’s set. “I’m filming Deadpool 2,” he said. “I’m about to walk onto the set.” The entire crew behind the actor also waved happy hellos, and Daniel and his mum, Stephanie Downing, couldn’t be happier.

Stephanie was quoted by the Plymouth Herald as saying, “I’m so happy for Daniel – it’s something he wouldn’t normally have been able to do and he was so excited.”

So, did you just fall in love with Ryan Reynolds all over again? Yes or…yes?
