Yes you got that right! After weeks of speculation, the news was finally confirmed – Manchester United signed on Alexis Sánchez, Chilean football player and (now) erstwhile member of the Arsenal lineup.
And when a club as big as Manchester United announces such massive news, they do it in style. So it was with the new #7, whose signing was confirmed with a beautiful video of him playing Glory Glory Man United, the club’s signature tune.

For those who suspect that Sanchez could not possibly play the piano, there’s news – he probably did! Fans have dug out past footage of the Chilean at the keyboard, suggesting his talents extend beyond the playing field.
Watch some of those videos here:
For those wondering, that might ACTUALLY be Alexis Sánchez playing the piano in that video. He knows his way around a piano. That's just one of the few useless facts I knows about the guy https://t.co/uwA0rmcA1B

Speaking about his transfer, Alexis Sánchez said: “I am thrilled to be joining the biggest club in the world. I have spent three-and-a-half wonderful years at Arsenal and I bring with me very positive memories of that great club and its fans. The chance to play in this historic stadium and to work with Jose Mourinho was something I could not turn down. I am very proud to be the first Chilean player ever to play for United’s first team and I hope I can show our fans all around the world why the club wanted to bring me here.”
Sánchez becomes comfortably the highest-paid player in Premier League history. He has signed a 4-and-a-half year contract with United to June 2022 that is worth around £600,000 a week once a £20 million signing on fee, bonuses and image rights are factored in.
