According to a study conducted by Netflix, India is the second largest consumer of Netflix videos after Mexico. Therefore, their plan to expand their projects in India doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Moreover, majority of Netflix’s traffic comes from shows that have a local flavour to them, like Narcos which is a story of Latin America but enjoys the appreciation of global audiences.
