Its true! Aamir Khan along with director Raju Hirani and screen writers Juhi Chaturvedi and Anjum Rajabali is on the jury for Cinestaan India’s Storytellers contest. Launched by Cinestaan, an online media company, this contest is believed to be India’s biggest script writing competition till date. Some of the best scripts shall be curated to be part of the Cinestaan Script Bank – a treasure trove that studios and production houses can delve into and then directly liaise with the writers, who often find it difficult to get their voice across.
Khan said, “I believe we have incredible talent in this country. However, that talent has been facing immense difficulty in reaching the Indian film industry. I feel that good writers don’t have enough opportunities and this contest will help in bringing the two closer.”
The contest, which was launched in October 2017, will accept entries till January 15, 2018. The results will be announced next year.
