Rarely do we come across a gesture that teaches a life lesson and also promotes a movie! Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you would know about the hype buzzing around the much-awaited Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Toilet – Ek Prem Katha. The actors have done their bit to get the ball rolling for the August 11 release, but it is BookASmile, the charity wing of BookMyShow, that is currently in the news.
In a bid to impart the values of hygiene and cleanliness, the organisation will take more than 1,65,000 people from less fortunate backgrounds for a special screening of the movie. It will be held on August 12, across 40 Indian cities including Ludhiana, Udaipur, Indore, Surat and Lucknow.
The actors, too, were touched by this initiative and shared a video thanking the organisation.
